This logo and business card set was designed for a young, local machinist in the Union Bridge, MD area. He specializes in CNC machining and was starting his own business. Inspired by his hunting dog and sidekick, Drummer, he created his company name Point Machine, LLC. I took this idea and images of Drummer and simply illustrated his dog with a line-based illustration style and the color of hunter's orange. This clean illustration is matched by corresponding typefaces that keep the design neat and orderly - which also reflects his professional work. Hints of curvature in the body typography keep it from becoming sterile and lack-luster, yet professional.
